How We Approach Jaw-Related Care

A plan tied to your findings

The decision to treat depends on your symptoms, health history, and exam findings. Our team builds care around those details, not a preset routine.

Injury records stay part of care

When jaw symptoms follow a car accident, workplace incident, slip, or fall, we document treatment progress alongside the clinical record.

Knowing when to refer

Chiropractic TMJ care is the wrong fit for concerns that need dental treatment, oral surgery, or another medical service. We discuss that limit when the findings point elsewhere.

Process

How We Build Jaw Care Step by Step

1

Complete the new patient intake

We record your symptoms, health history, injury details, and main concerns during the new patient intake.

2

Review jaw and related movement

We assess jaw movement and related musculoskeletal findings, with X-rays considered if clinically indicated.

3

Explain the report of findings

We explain the report of findings in plain language so you understand how the assessment relates to your symptoms.

4

Set the personalized treatment plan

We create a personalized treatment plan based on your symptoms, medical history, and diagnostic needs.

5

Track documented treatment progress

We review treatment progress as care continues and keep injury documentation aligned with the clinical record when applicable.

This place is amazing. The staff is friendly. The office is clean and laid back. Not much of a wait. The doctor walks you through every step and tells you what he’s going to do and has answers any questions I’ve had to the best of his knowledge. Normally I am afraid to go to doctors and be in offices but this place has been a different experience. I would recommend anyone to come here. The front desk ladies are helpful and friendly

Questions About Jaw Pain and Chiropractic Care

How does the first jaw-care visit begin?

The first visit begins with a new patient intake and health history review. The evaluation then considers jaw movement, related neck or back concerns, and injury details. X-rays may be considered if clinically indicated. You’ll receive an explanation of the findings and the care options that match your needs.

Which records should I bring after an injury?

Relevant medical records, accident details, and prior imaging can help connect jaw symptoms with an injury. Bring any documents you already have, but care can still begin with an intake and health history. For personal injury or workplace cases, our team also discusses how treatment progress may be documented.

When is jaw care the wrong fit for TMJ Treatment?

Jaw care is the wrong fit when the main concern needs dental, oral surgery, or another medical service. Tooth damage, bite concerns, or oral health problems may require a different evaluation. Our team reviews the complaint and explains when referral or coordinated care makes more sense than chiropractic treatment.

Why might jaw pain come with neck pain?

Jaw pain can occur with neck pain when nearby muscles and joints share strain after an injury or repeated clenching. The connection still needs an individual assessment. We review both areas, along with headaches and movement limits, so the treatment plan addresses the findings instead of focusing on one symptom alone.

What changes the cost of care for jaw symptoms?

The evaluation needed, recommended treatment, and documentation needs change the cost of jaw care. A car accident or workplace incident may require more record review than a standalone complaint. Free initial consultations let you discuss the condition and options before you decide how to proceed.

Who provides this chiropractic jaw care?

Advanced Injury Care Clinic provides chiropractic jaw care, medical evaluation, and injury documentation support. Our team reviews each patient’s symptoms, health history, and diagnostic needs. The care plan may include related musculoskeletal treatment, while dental or oral concerns may call for another provider.
