Functional medicine consultation for Hermitage health concerns

A functional medicine consultation gives you time to discuss concerns that don't fit one simple symptom label. Our team reviews your health history, current symptoms, and relevant diagnostic needs before explaining possible care paths.

This page is for people seeking a focused consultation about hormonal balance, digestive health, chronic fatigue, or inflammation. The service isn't a substitute for urgent care when symptoms are severe, sudden, or life-threatening.

The main decision is fit. If your concern centers on an injury after a car accident, workplace incident, slip, or fall, our medical evaluation and chiropractic services may be more suitable. We can explain the next step after hearing your concerns.

  • Bring a list of current symptoms and the main concern you want to discuss.
  • Share relevant medical history so the consultation has useful context.
  • Ask which diagnostic needs or care options fit your situation.
  • Request a clear explanation of the next step before choosing care.

  • We provide this consultation for patients in Hermitage and throughout the Nashville area.

How we approach functional health concerns

Individualized patient evaluations

We begin with your symptoms, health history, and questions, so the discussion stays connected to your actual concerns. This service is the wrong fit for a medical emergency or an injury that needs urgent evaluation.

Personalized treatment plans

Care planning follows the information gathered during the consultation. We explain what the plan addresses and which questions still need review.

Evidence-informed injury care

Our broader clinic work combines chiropractic treatment with medical evaluation and injury documentation when personal injury support is needed.

Process

How we complete the consultation

1

Share the main concern

You describe the symptoms, health changes, and questions that led you to seek care.

2

Review health history

Our team reviews your medical history and current care needs to add context to the discussion.

3

Discuss diagnostic needs

We consider which diagnostic needs relate to your concerns and explain what the consultation can address.

4

Explain the care path

You receive a personalized care discussion with clear next steps and an explanation of relevant services.

What patients gain from a focused health consultation

You get time to explain the full pattern of your symptoms.

A health history review gives the discussion more context than one symptom alone.

Clear next steps can make it easier to decide which type of care fits.

The consultation helps separate functional concerns from injury-related issues that need another evaluation.

A documented discussion can support better continuity when your care involves more than one service.

This place is amazing. The staff is friendly. The office is clean and laid back. Not much of a wait. The doctor walks you through every step and tells you what he’s going to do and has answers any questions I’ve had to the best of his knowledge. Normally I am afraid to go to doctors and be in offices but this place has been a different experience. I would recommend anyone to come here. The front desk ladies are helpful and friendly

Questions patients ask about this consultation

When evaluating scope, what concerns can a functional medicine consultation address when reviewing project requirements?

Hormonal balance, digestive health, chronic fatigue, and inflammation are concerns this consultation can address. The visit connects symptoms with your health history and diagnostic needs. Bring the main questions you want answered, and our team will explain whether this service fits. Injury-related concerns may call for medical evaluation or chiropractic care instead.

How should I prepare for my first consultation?

A symptom list and relevant health history help prepare you for the first consultation. Bring notes about your main concern, current care, and questions about next steps. You don't need to organize everything perfectly. Clear details about what you notice and when it occurs give the discussion a useful starting point.

Which symptoms suggest I need another type of care?

Severe or sudden symptoms require urgent medical care, not a routine consultation. New weakness, serious breathing trouble, chest pain, or a major injury should receive prompt medical attention. Musculoskeletal pain after a car accident or workplace incident may fit our medical evaluation and chiropractic services. Our team can explain the appropriate direction after hearing your concern.

When is this consultation a good fit for ongoing fatigue?

Ongoing fatigue is a reasonable topic when you want to discuss its pattern, related symptoms, and health history. The consultation doesn't promise a cause or outcome. Our team reviews the information you share and explains what can be addressed through this service. Further medical evaluation may be needed when symptoms require another level of care.

Why discuss digestive health with other symptoms?

Digestive health can provide useful context when it appears with changes in energy, inflammation, or other concerns. A broader discussion helps our team understand what you want reviewed. The consultation still has limits, and it doesn't replace urgent care or every type of medical testing. We explain the next step after reviewing your history and symptoms.

Who provides this consultation in Hermitage?

Advanced Injury Care Clinic provides this consultation for patients in Hermitage and the wider Nashville area. Our team discusses symptoms, health history, and diagnostic needs in clear language. The clinic also provides chiropractic care, medical evaluation, and personal injury support. That broader scope helps us direct injury-related concerns to the right service.
