Functional Medicine Consultation for Nashville Health Concerns

A functional medicine consultation gives patients a focused way to discuss symptoms that may overlap. The visit can address chronic fatigue, digestive health, hormonal balance, inflammation, and injury-related concerns.

The goal isn't to label every symptom at once. Our team reviews your health history and current concerns, then explains which next steps fit your situation. This page is for people deciding whether a broader health review belongs alongside chiropractic care or personal injury support.

Some concerns need medical care outside a consultation. Severe symptoms, sudden changes, or urgent conditions need prompt medical attention. We can help explain the next step within the care options we provide.

  • Bring a list of current symptoms and health concerns.
  • Share relevant medical history and prior diagnostic information.
  • Discuss digestive health, hormonal balance, inflammation, or injury symptoms that affect daily life.
  • Ask how the consultation fits with chiropractic care or injury documentation.
  • Review the care plan before starting treatment.

How We Approach Functional Medicine Care

A plan tied to your symptoms

Health history, current symptoms, and diagnostic needs shape the discussion. We don't use one plan for every patient.

Care that connects related concerns

Digestive health, hormonal balance, inflammation, and musculoskeletal symptoms may overlap. We review those links before discussing care.

A clear boundary for urgent needs

This consultation is not the right first step for a medical emergency or severe sudden symptoms. Those concerns need urgent medical attention.

A situation this service fits

A patient in Nashville may seek this consultation after fatigue continues alongside digestive changes or injury symptoms. We review the health history, discuss the main concerns, and explain whether functional medicine care or another medical step fits next.

Process

How We Complete the Functional Medicine Consultation

1

Share your main health concerns

The new patient intake records your symptoms, health history, and reason for seeking care.

2

Review symptoms and medical history

We discuss chronic fatigue, digestive health, hormonal balance, inflammation, and relevant injury concerns.

3

Consider diagnostic needs

Our team discusses whether further medical evaluation or diagnostic review belongs in the next step.

4

Explain the findings

The report of findings connects the discussion to your care options in plain language.

5

Set the treatment direction

We create a personalized treatment plan and explain how progress will be reviewed.

This place is amazing. The staff is friendly. The office is clean and laid back. Not much of a wait. The doctor walks you through every step and tells you what he’s going to do and has answers any questions I’ve had to the best of his knowledge. Normally I am afraid to go to doctors and be in offices but this place has been a different experience. I would recommend anyone to come here. The front desk ladies are helpful and friendly

Questions About Functional Medicine Care

Before work begins, what concerns can a functional medicine consultation address when setting up the service plan?

Chronic fatigue, digestive health, hormonal balance, inflammation, and injury-related concerns can be discussed during a functional medicine consultation. The visit connects your symptoms with your medical history and diagnostic needs. It doesn't replace urgent medical care or every type of specialist evaluation. Our team explains which concerns fit the consultation and what next step makes sense.

For Functional Medicine Consultation, how should I prepare for the first consultation?

A symptom list, medical history, and relevant records help prepare you for the first consultation. Bring questions about changes in energy, digestion, hormones, inflammation, or injury symptoms. Note any care you've already received. That information helps the discussion stay focused and gives our team useful context for a personalized treatment plan.

Which health records should I bring?

Relevant medical records, prior diagnostic information, and injury documents can help us understand your concerns. Bring what you have, including details about current care and past evaluations. You don't need to organize every record perfectly before reaching out. We’ll explain what information matters for the consultation and how it relates to your care plan.

When is this consultation the wrong first step for Functional Medicine Consultation?

Urgent or severe sudden symptoms need prompt medical attention, not a planned functional medicine consultation. A consultation suits patients who want to discuss ongoing symptoms and care choices. We can review health concerns during the visit, but emergency needs require the appropriate urgent medical setting. Tell our team about serious changes when you request care.

Why include injury history in a broader health review?

Injury history gives context when symptoms began after a car accident, workplace incident, slip, or fall. It can help connect the health discussion with chiropractic evaluation and injury documentation. The history doesn't prove the cause of every symptom. Our team uses it to understand your care needs and explain which services fit.

Who provides functional medicine consultations at the clinic?

Advanced Injury Care Clinic provides functional medicine consultations through medical professionals and chiropractors. Our team reviews symptoms, medical history, and diagnostic needs before discussing care. The consultation may relate to chiropractic treatment or personal injury support when those concerns are part of your health history.
