Scope and Service Overview for Smyrna

Headache treatment focuses on finding patterns that connect your symptoms with the neck, spine, posture, or a past injury. This page helps patients decide what to expect from an assessment, especially when headaches follow a car accident, workplace incident, slip, or fall.

The assessment does not promise one cause or one result. Our team reviews your pain history, health history, neck function, and possible triggers before discussing care. A medical evaluation can also help identify when another type of medical attention is needed.

Patients seeking care in Smyrna can discuss the service with our team and request a free initial consultation. The decision to begin care should reflect your symptoms, medical history, and diagnostic needs.

  • Bring a record of when headaches began and what makes them better or worse.
  • Tell our team about neck pain, whiplash, past injuries, and current care.
  • Ask how findings will be documented and how progress will be reviewed.
  • Discuss whether chiropractic treatment, medical evaluation, or referral fits your needs.

Process

How our team assesses headache concerns

1

Complete the new patient intake

We record your health history, headache pattern, injury details, current symptoms, and relevant medical information.

2

Review pain history and triggers

Our team asks when symptoms began, what changes them, and whether work, movement, injury, or other events affect the pattern.

3

Examine neck movement

The neck examination checks movement and related musculoskeletal findings that may connect with your symptoms.

4

Consider diagnostic needs

X-rays are considered if clinically indicated, based on the examination and the information gathered.

5

Explain findings and options

We provide a report of findings and discuss whether a personalized treatment plan fits your needs.

6

Track treatment progress

Progress re-examination helps our team review documented treatment progress and adjust care when appropriate.

What to weigh before choosing headache care

Individualized patient evaluations

Your assessment starts with your symptoms and health history, not a fixed routine. Headache care is the wrong fit when symptoms need urgent medical attention or another type of specialist care first.

Documented treatment progress

Injury-related visits include records that track findings and care. This detail can matter when a headache follows a car accident or workplace incident.

Evidence-informed injury care

Our team connects chiropractic treatment with medical evaluation and diagnostic needs. We explain the findings before discussing a personalized plan.

This is the most friendliest and efficient doctor’s office I ever visited. The lady at the front desk !!!! AMAZING. Great customer service. The doctor asks perfect questions and made me feel comfortable and confident with my treatment plan. Highly recommended for all patients. Even if you’re just learning to walk again! The equipment and service provided is well worth the visit.

My fiancé & I was in an accident on 4/16/2024 and since we started treatment at the clinic the staff has been very helpful. They’re very professional, polite& efficient. Dr. Roberts always make sure that she ask us if we’re ok before and after treatment. She also makes sure that we clearly understand the process and answers any question’s or concerns that we may have. I would recommend her to anyone that needs proper treatment after an injury.

Questions about headache care and assessment

For Headache Treatment, what happens during a headache assessment?

Posture analysis begins the assessment, followed by a pain history, neck examination, and trigger review. Our team also considers your health history and injury details. X-rays are considered if clinically indicated. Advanced Injury Care Clinic explains the findings and discusses a personalized treatment plan when the service fits your needs.

How does neck pain affect a headache assessment?

Neck pain gives the clinician useful context about movement, muscle tension, and related musculoskeletal concerns. The examination checks how your neck moves and records symptoms that occur with that movement. Share prior whiplash, workplace injuries, and current treatment so the assessment reflects your full history.

Which details should I confirm before starting care for Headache Treatment?

The care plan should state what the examination found, which services are recommended, and how progress will be reviewed. Ask whether medical evaluation or imaging is needed for your situation. You can also discuss documentation for a workplace or personal injury case before agreeing to treatment.

When should I ask about injury documentation for Headache Treatment?

Injury documentation matters when headaches follow a car accident, workplace incident, slip, or fall. Tell our team when the event occurred and when symptoms started. We record relevant findings and treatment progress for personal injury and workplace cases. Legal questions may require a referral to an attorney.

Why might headache care be the wrong first step?

Urgent or unusual symptoms can require medical attention before chiropractic care. Severe symptoms after a head injury need prompt medical review. Our team considers your history and findings, then explains whether the service fits. Do not delay urgent care while waiting for a routine consultation.

What changes the price of a headache assessment?

The assessment needs, medical evaluation, diagnostic review, and proposed care plan affect the cost. Our team explains the services discussed during the consultation. Free initial consultations let patients ask questions about their symptoms and options before choosing a plan. No price is assigned without considering the individual case.
